Primary Function: St. Joseph’s College, New York, an NCAA Division III provisional member affiliated with the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) located in Brooklyn, N.Y. is accepting applications for internship positions in athletic operations.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Major involvement in all aspects of the production of the Coast to Coast Bicycle Tour
mega-event sponsored by St. Joseph’s College Athletics (Summer 2011)

• Coordination of unique marketing initiatives with a focus on developing sponsorship
packages, youth outreach programs, student-athlete involvement with charitable events
and organizations, along with the creation of in-game marketing promotions at all home
events.

• Special event planning in relation to pre- and post-game management tasks

• Assisting with general office duties for department staff and head coaches as assigned

Requirements:

Background Requirements:

1. Bachelor/Graduate degree or working towards a degree in sport management, marketing
and/or in appropriate field, organizational, communication and public relations skills.

2. Must possess a strong work ethic and eagerness to work in the sports industry.
The intern is frequently required to work nights, weekends, and extended hours.
